The Grand Marina sits directly on the Barcelona waterfront with 450 rooms and suites. The property was renovated in 2022 and offers a contemporary interior with floor to ceiling windows in most rooms.

Standard rooms are spacious at 35 square metres. Superior categories add a separate lounge area and larger bathrooms. Suites on the upper floors have private terraces with harbour views. All rooms include climate control, a minibar, complimentary bottled water, and high speed Wi-Fi included in the room rate.

The hotel has two restaurants. The first, a seafood grill on the ground floor, is open for lunch and dinner. The second, an Asian fusion concept, operates in the evening and requires reservations. A lobby bar serves light meals and cocktails until midnight.

Spa facilities include a hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room and treatment rooms. The wellness area is open from 08:00 to 21:00. The rooftop pool is a standout feature, but sun loungers are limited and fill quickly in summer.

The casino at The Grand Marina is a medium sized venue located on the lower ground floor. It is physically connected to the hotel and operates independently under a Spanish regional gaming licence.

Entry requirements: guests must show valid photo identification and be at least 18 years old. The property strictly enforces this rule. Smart casual dress is required. The casino opens at 16:00 and closes at 04:00. There is no separate membership scheme for hotel guests, but the casino reserves the right to refuse entry.

The casino gaming floor layout was last verified in June 2025. The casino does not publish its table inventory on the public website, so this information remains partially unverified.

Location And Transport

The property is located in the Port Vela area, about 15 minutes by taxi from Barcelona Airport. The nearest metro station is Drassanes, approximately 1.2 kilometres away. The hotel runs a scheduled shuttle to the city centre every hour.

On-site parking is available for guests at an additional daily charge. The waterfront promenade is directly accessible from the hotel, ideal for walking to the marina and nearby restaurants.
